Career Study Options for Feng Shui

The idea that a persons living or working environment plays a role on their overall well being gives students the chance to study the ancient art of Feng Shui. The principles behind this art form can be learned through multiple educational options. Students can finish programs at vocational schools and become practitioners in the field.

Feng Shui is the belief that achieving harmony in ones personal life is done by having a well placed living environment. This means balancing and enhancing natural energy by incorporating individuals, structures, and landscapes. The focal point of Feng Shui education is to teach students to maximize the flow of Qi, which is believed to be the energy force of the universe. Many programs available include concentrations in several areas. Some areas include:

  • Traditional
  • Classical
  • Intuitive
  • Modern

Certificate programs are the main form of education for this career and students can enter programs that teach beginning through master’s techniques. With a variety of people having different interest levels in Feng Shui schools and colleges offer many educational lengths and focuses. Some programs can last a couple of months and others are set up as weekend workshops. The interest level of students determines what type of program they will choose.

Inside a beginner’s certificate program students should expect to take around 20 courses or modules that are designed to certify students as practitioners in the industry. Major areas of study may include:

  • Health
  • Personal Qi
  • Business
  • Prosperity

Students apply the principles of the practice to health concerns in the health studies section of a program. Qi strength and natural path of Qi Gong are explored inside different illnesses that may be caused due to bad Feng Shui inside a household. A personal Qi course examines how to read a client’s Qi by giving students basic knowledge in key areas. Face reading, facial shape, mole reading, and personal analysis are areas learned in regards to the Five Element Method. Working with business professionals is explored through negative space, Qi adjustment, and concept realization. These areas are utilized to build all of the foundational concepts to build a career as a practitioner.

Students that want to take a shorter certificate program and find out if Feng Shui is for them can take a weekend workshop. Many levels of education can be pursued inside this option. A classical certificate program teaches students to align a home with the magnetic compass directions, which is believed to cause harmony and balance. Time, space, chart construction, and the Ba Gua theory are all covered inside a classical program.

Howdy just wanted to give you a brief heads up and let you know a few of the images aren’t loading properly. I’m not sure why but I think its a linking issue. I’ve tried it in two different browsers and both show the same results.
